WHAT IS SUSTAINABILITY? Sustainability is a development that satisfies the needs of the present without risking that future generations will not be able to meet their own needs.
It actually represents the balance between the modern human life and the planet we live on. In other words; it is not only doing things better environmentally but as well as economically and socially.
As Soleluna Tessile, the environment is our principle, so we do our best for the planet’s future. That’s why we started with our own business to be part of the solution and we try to implement eco-friendly solutions as we can.
The environment and the climate need to be fully protected. This can only be achieved if we open ourselves to a sustainable life.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY Since our environmental policy, we aim to cooperate with green suppliers.
- Compliance with the REACH regulation :
All our suppliers must sign a certificate to ensure that their materials conform to the REACH regulation.
All our garment and fabric suppliers are evaluated through a system that indicates they are involved in the environmental approach; OEKO-TEX® 100 Standard
- Environmental materials library :
Support Organic Cotton, Better Cotton and Fair Trade Cotton usage. Cotton is the most important raw material for the textile industry. The cotton industry has noticed that it should be produced in a sustainable manner to meet increasing the global fiber demand of the present as well as for the future.
- Reduce the destructions of materials and garments :
Our merchandisers regularly communicate with the clients in order to refine the forecasts.
We diversify our materials and garments for revaluation networks.
We commit to comply with the waste sorting policy implemented by Soleluna.
